Private pay, on purpose
TALK does not file insurance or accept direct billing. That choice is the foundation of how we practice. When an insurance company isn’t in the room, no one overrules your child’s clinician on how often they should be seen, for how long, or with which methods.
What private pay buys you

- · The same expert clinician every visit, the one chosen for your child
- · Unhurried evaluations and genuinely individualized plans
- · Freedom to coordinate with schools, psychologists, and tutors as part of care
- · Complete privacy: your child’s diagnosis stays out of insurer databases
Complete fee transparency
Our clinicians’ time is billed at $175–$185 per hour, prorated to actual session length:
- · 30-minute session — $88–$93
- · 45-minute session — $131–$139
- · 60-minute session — $175–$185
- · Evaluation (30–60 minutes) — $90–$185, written report included
You’ll receive your child’s exact fees in writing before you commit to anything, and the fee you are quoted is the fee you pay. One scheduling note, stated here rather than in fine print: your session time is reserved for you, so sessions not canceled 24 hours ahead are charged at the full session rate, with illness and emergencies excepted.
Families using HSA/FSA funds receive detailed invoices. Ask once and we prepare your superbills automatically: itemized statements with standard service codes (evaluation and treatment CPT codes such as 92507, 92522, 92523, and 92526) and diagnosis codes, which some families submit to their insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. They arrive on schedule, without you having to remind anyone.
A note on fit
If in-network insurance reimbursement is essential to accessing care for your family, we are genuinely not the right practice, and we’d rather tell you on this page than after a phone call. Atlanta has good in-network options, and if you call us we’re happy to suggest where to start.
