The welcome call
Same or next business dayYour call reaches a person who knows speech and language, live or returned the same or next business day. Tell us what you're seeing, what a teacher said, or what a report recommended. We'll tell you honestly whether an evaluation is warranted, what it costs, and what happens next. If we're not the right practice, we'll say so and point you to who is.
Comprehensive evaluation
Typically within 1–2 weeksA thorough, unhurried assessment using gold-standard instruments, in a space designed to put children at ease. If you have a psychoeducational, neuropsychological, or prior speech evaluation, we integrate it rather than repeating it. You leave understood, and so does your child.
The plan, in plain language
Written report within daysYou receive a written report a parent can actually use: what we found, what it means, precise goals, recommended frequency, and our honest estimate of duration. We review it with you, answer everything, and, with your permission, share it with your child's school, psychologist, or pediatrician.
Therapy your child looks forward to
Frequency set by your child’s diagnosisEvidence-based sessions with the same clinician every time, chosen for your child's specific profile. Frequency follows the clinical evidence: weekly works for many articulation and language goals; motor-speech diagnoses like childhood apraxia get the 3–4 short sessions per week they actually respond to. Parents get short, realistic home practice (a few focused minutes a day) and know exactly what was worked on each week. After-school slots and teletherapy keep real family calendars workable.
Measured progress, on the record
Formal reviews on a set scheduleWe measure everything and re-justify the plan with data at every progress review. Frequency goes down when the data says so. When a child no longer needs us, we graduate them, celebrations included. Some children are with us for a season and some grow with us for years; we are equally proud of both.
Between sessions, the office keeps pace
Cancellations, rescheduling, superbills, records requests, intake paperwork: email us whenever it comes up, at any hour, and it’s handled within hours, any day of the week.
One team around your child
Our families rarely work with us alone. There are teachers, learning specialists, psychologists, tutors, pediatricians. With your permission we talk to all of them, from Atlanta’s independent schools to your child’s testing psychologist, so everyone is rowing in the same direction. We consider therapy finished when the gains show up in the classroom.
