Our approach
Heather Hamilton, M.S., CCC-SLP, TALK's founder, is certified in the Compton PESL Accent Modification Method and leads our adult work personally. It begins with an individual communication assessment that maps your specific sound, intonation, and stress patterns; from there you get a personal plan with the measurement culture the whole practice runs on: targets specified to 90% accuracy over three consecutive sessions, progressing from words to phrases to conversation and presentation-level speech.
Built for working professionals
Sessions are typically 30 minutes weekly, in our private Buckhead office or over Zoom, scheduled as your calendar dictates, with structured home practice between sessions. A typical course of accent modification runs six to twelve months, with formal progress updates along the way and a discharge summary when your goals are met. The office is designed for discretion: private, quiet, and calm, and you receive the same detailed itemized invoices our families use for HSA/FSA and reimbursement purposes.
